DESCRIPTION:    20.07. bis 24.07.2011 From the Rooster to the Donkey  Ellen Akimoto & Elise de Castelbajac  Vernissage am Mittwoch mit Balkanmusik von Jane Han & Ivan Terziev  ...As July draws to a close\, Ellen Akimoto of Chico\, California and Elise de Castelbajac of Toulouse\, France prepare to end their time in Mainz as exchange students and return to their respective homes. But before taking their leave\, the two present their work from their time in Mainz. Figurative painting collage/ installation from the past year from Akimoto\, and abstract paintings from the past semester from de Castelbajac.    Wenn der Juli sich dem Ende zuneigt\, bereiten sich Ellen Akimoto aus Chico - Kalifornien\, und Elise de Castelbajac aus Toulouse - Frankreich\, vor\, ihre Zeit in Mainz als Austauschstudentinnen zu beenden und in ihre jeweiligen Länder zurückkehren. Aber bevor die Zwei sich verabschieden\, stellen sie ihre Arbeiten von der Zeit in Mainz aus. Figurative Malerei Collage/ Installation des letztes Jahres von Akimoto und abstrakte Bilder des letztes Semesters von de Castelbajac.  Programm:  Mittwoch\, 20. Juli:  18:00 Uhr Vernissage    Zur Vernissage dürfen wir uns auf Livemusik von Jane Han & Ivan Terziev freuen. Die beiden spielen Balkanlieder und liefern dazu eine bunte Perfomance.
