DANCE OF TRIBES – IRANIAN WEDDING In Iran, the country older than the history, older than religion, older than war and peace, among tribes and nomads, among ethnics and religions which have the sense of ancientness and being, his camera was a seeker of love’s symbols , weddings in different colours and customs, different music and clothes, different prays and wishes. His pictures are here to introduce a face of this land, the face of dancing the tribes for love.
Hassan Sarbakhshian, born in 1968 in the city of Tabriz (Iran), working as a photographer for the U.S. Associated Press news agency since Nov. 1999, holder of a bachelor’s degree in photography, 1998, photos Printed in international periodicals and magazines include: Newsweek, Time, Economist, Novel Observator, New York Times, Washington Post, …, has won several awards since 1995, attended more than 70 national and international solo and group photo exhibition, published the book “Time Pulse”, in 2005 in English and Persian, contains daily photographic reports and notes by Hassan Sarbakhshian over a period of eight years (1997-2005).
